Alyssa Schoenfeld - Bites of Boston Food Tours

Bites of Boston Founder Alyssa Schoenfeld

Alyssa Schoenfeld is the Founder of Bites of Boston Food Tours, a company she launched in 2011 to share her love of food, culture, and storytelling with both locals and visitors. For Alyssa, food has always been more than just a meal—it’s a way to connect with people, celebrate traditions, and discover the heart of a place.

Alyssa’s vision for Bites of Boston grew out of her own travels, where the most meaningful and memorable moments often revolved around shared meals and the discovery of unique local food traditions. Wanting to bring that same sense of connection to her own city, she created tours that highlight Boston’s diverse culinary landscape, blending delicious tastings with stories of history, culture, and community.

Over the years, Alyssa has built lasting partnerships with chefs, restaurateurs, and food makers across the city, from family-run cafés to world-renowned kitchens. These collaborations allow her tours to showcase not only Boston’s flavors but also the people and traditions behind them.

For Alyssa, Bites of Boston is more than a business—it’s a labor of love. She treasures the relationships she’s cultivated with her partners and guides, as well as the thousands of guests who have joined tours to experience Boston in a unique and memorable way. Her mission remains the same as when she began: to celebrate local food, support small businesses, and create meaningful experiences that connect people to each other and to her beloved city of Boston.
